Case II: WEU(Western European Union)

Daniel 7:23-25, “He gave me this explanation: ‘The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it. The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings. He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time.

The “ten horns” are explained in Daniel 7:23-25 and Revelation 17:12 to be ten kings, and the whole vision is of the last form of Gentile world-power, a confederated ten-kingdom empire, most likely covering the whole Earth. Originally established in a 1954 amendment to the 1948 Brussels Treaty, which allowed West Germany to re-arm, the WEU was re-activated in 1984 to provide Western Europe with its own limited military capability. Its first military operation was with Allied maritime forces during the Gulf War of 1991. It also conducted the joint maritime Operation Sharp Guard with NATO during the war in the former Yugoslavia (1992-95). WEU police have also been deployed to Croatia and Albania.

Furtheremore, there are 10 member states, six associate member states and five observer states presently in the WEU. Its HQ is based in Brussels. It answers to the Council of Europe at Strasbourg, the Council of Ministers, NATO and the WEU Parliamentary Assembly in Paris. The WEU’s Secretary-General is Mr. Javier Solana. Below are the member states / countries:

This military alliance will give their allegiance and military might to the Beast, to wage war against our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the Battle of Armageddon. As one can see, from Revelation 17-12:14,”The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast. They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast. They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”Therefore, the verse before is detailing a future battle, which depicts the forces of Earth under the leadership of the Beast, along with the alliance of the 10 Horns, waging war against Jesus Christ in the battle of Armageddon, as you can see from the following verse, Rev 19:11-21,”I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God, so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and mighty men, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, small and great.” Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army. But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. The rest of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.”

Furthermore, as you can see from the above, these 10 Horns will wage war against our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the battle of Armageddon. They will be under the influence of the Beast, who under the influence of the father of lies, being Satan, will convince the whole world to fight against Jesus Christ. Nevertheless, the outcome of such battle will be devastating for the armed forces of the whole world, as you can see from Daniel 2:44-45, “In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. This is the meaning of the vision of the rock cut out of a mountain, but not by human hands—a rock that broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver and the gold to pieces.” Therefore, the kingdom of God will be an everlasting one, that will never end”. Noticed that it states, in the times of those kings, we are living in such times. This verse also speaks of a rock cut out of a mountain, but not by human hands. This ‘Rock’ is our Lord Jesus Christ, cut out of a mountain(God’s Kingdom), but not by human hands(Holy Spirit). Thus, this mountain will fill the whole Earth.
